Founded in 2019 by Vallerie Dalrymple and Rudi Haido, The Designers Firm is built on a shared passion for creating spaces that feel both intentional and inspired. With diverse backgrounds and unique design perspectives, Vallerie and Rudi specialize in crafting interiors that seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetics, and individuality. From AirBnB designs and residential remodels to new builds and exterior transformations, their expertise spans a variety of projects, all rooted in a deep commitment to exceptional design and most importantly, client satisfaction.

Vallerie Dalrymple, Co-Founder & Lead Designer

Vallerie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi before pursuing her passion for design at the Design Institute of San Diego, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. During her time at DISD, she served on the Student ASID Board and became the first Humble Design Committee Chair, strengthening the connection between ASID and Humble Design. She now continues her involvement as a Member at Large with Humble Design and serves as the Director of Professional Development for the ASID-SD Board.

Vallerie resides in San Diego with her husband, Michael, their two children, Isabella and Alexander, and their beloved dog, Lucy.

Rudi Haido, Co-Founder & Lead Designer

Rudi initially pursued civil engineering before discovering his true passion for creative design. He then enrolled at the Design Institute of San Diego, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. During his time at DI, he worked as a tutor, which is where he met Vallerie. Their collaboration on their first design project sparked a lasting partnership.
